The Thrill of Online Blackjack GamblingI don't know about you, but right from the moment I click my desktop icon to
launch my favorite top online Blackjack casino, I start tingling with
anticipation of the exciting online Blackjack session ahead.
As the online casino lobby pops up in my browser, I feel like I'm at home, and
actually become aware of physically relaxing as I sink further into my
comfortably worn leather study chair, blackjack tips by my side.
The first thing I'll do is log on to my casino account to check out what
gambling funds I have available to play with. On this occasion I see that I have
$345. Perfect! That means I have $150 to gamble during this session.
To ensure that I don't go overboard, I have set myself a strict gambling limit
of $150 per session and I only play 5 sessions a week. In the unfortunate event
that I use all $150, I'll logout and go make myself a triple layer sandwich,
looking forward to winning my money back in my next online Blackjack session.
But right now such thoughts are far from my mind as I select and enter a
multi-player Blackjack game. Hey, there's 'blackjack_bob'. I see he's doing well
for himself with a chip stack of $625 dollars. We greet each other on the game's
chat facility and now I'm all set to join in.
Awesome! My first hand and I get a Blackjack. What a great sign. I bet $10 so I
get $25 back. Not even two minutes at the table and I've already increased my
stack by 10%. I hope my good fortune continues.
The next hand I'm not so lucky as I stay on 18 and the dealer pulls 20. I notice
that blackjack_bob bet $20 on that hand and made Blackjack. He sure seems to be
on a lucky streak.
On my next hand I pull two 7s and decide to split them, putting $10 on each. One
of them busts at 23 but the other wins with 20, beating the dealer's 16. While I
double my money on that hand, I come out even considering the bet I lost on the
first 7. Still, not too bad.
I bust on the next two hands but on the third, I clean up. I noticed a lack of
10 point cards and decided to double-down on my $20 bet and, lucky me, I pulled
another Blackjack! I won $100 on that hand.
I won't bore you with every hand therafter, but when I logged off the casino
that evening, I had turned my $150 into $325. Not bad for a few hours of
entertaining and, if I may say, skillful online Blackjack play! Incidentally,
when blackjack_bob left the table, he was $850 up. He had a great session.
